What Throne Tactics is about
This is a strategy game built on deck management rather than one hero. You hold a hand of cards, spend them on a shared board, and try to out-read your opponent across five rounds. Because both players pull from a large pool of cards, matches rarely repeat, and a hand that won last time can be countered the next.

Winning the best-of-five
A duel is five rounds, and you win by taking the majority. That means card economy matters: spending everything on an early push can leave you empty when the series is on the line. Holding a key enhancement or tactical card for a later round often beats using it right away, since your opponent adapts to what you have shown.
Tips for tighter duels
A few habits that win rounds:
- Keep your deck balanced so you always have an answer.
- Wait for your opponent's placement before committing your best card.
- Buff a troop that is already surviving, not one about to fall.
- Save a tactical ability for the deciding round.
